Zusammenfassung
Das Hypophysenvorderlappenpulver bedingt im Ovarium junger, infantiler Ratten und Kaninchen qualitativ dieselben Veränderungen —Follikelwachstum, Follikelreifung, Luteinbildung — wie die Transplantation von frischer Drüse oder die Injektion von Evans-Extrakt und Schwangerenurin. Beim Legehuhn bewirkt es ebenso wie Evans-Extrakt eine Hemmung der Legetätigkeit.
