Zusammenfassung
Die Pupille des enukleierten Froschauges wird durch Azetylcholin verengt, durch Histamin erweitert. Die Verengung tritt erst bei Azetylcholinkonzentrationen von 1∶5–10000 auf; die Histaminerweiterung dagegen bereits bei Konzentrationen von 1∶500000. Da zur Auslösung der Reaktion 1 ccm Flüssigkeit notwendig sind, läßt sich noch 0,002 mg Histamin aus der Froschpupille nachweisen.
