Über das Vorkommen von Histamin in menschlichen Faeces

Zusammenfassung

  1. 1.

    Verfasser geben eine neue Methode zur Bestimmung von Histamin im Stuhl an, die auf der von Barsoum und Gaddum angegebenen fußt.

  2. 2.

    Mit dieser Methode wurden bei gesunden Kontrollpersonen Histaminwerte von 0−5γ pro ccm Stuhl nachgewiesen.

  3. 3.

    Von Colitis-ulcerosa-Fällen stammender Stuhl wies in bezug auf die Histaminmenge im großen ganzen normale Verhältnisse auf; das gleiche gilt für andere gastrointestinale Fälle und eine Reihe nicht-gastrointestinaler Erkrankungen.

  4. 4.

    Bei Asthma brochiale wurden in 5 von 10 untersuchten Fällen bedeutend erhöhte Werte gefunden.

  5. 5.

    Die erhöhten Histaminwerte konnten durch perorale Eisenzufuhr beeinflußt werden.
