Arthrodèse métatarso-phalangienne du premier rayon

Résumé

L'étude de 43 dossiers d'arthrodèses métatarso-phalangiennes du premier rayon en dehors de la maladie rhumatoïde nous a permis de confirmer que cette intervention conserve d'excellentes indications surtout dans les reprises des échecs des autres interventions mais aussi dans les déformations importantes qu'une chirurgie conservatrice n'est pas capable de stabiliser. Enfin, c'est une très bonne solution dans les reprises pour sepsis et dans les nécroses de la tête du premier métatarsien. Elle permet une marche indolore avec une très bonne répartition de l'appui sous les têtes des métatarsiens.

Summary

This study of 43 caserecords of metatarsophalangeal arthrodeses of the first ray, excluding rheumatoid arthritis, confirmed that there remain excellent indications for this procedure, particularly in the revision of failures of other operations but also for major deformities that cannot be stabilised by conservative surgery. It is also an excellent solution in reoperations for sepsis and in necrosis of the head of the first metatarsal. It allows painless walking with an excellent distribution of pressure under the metatarsal heads.
