Neue Beobachtungen an den Quarzporphyren von Groß-Umstadt im nordöstlichen Odenwald

Zusammenfassung

Die permokarbonischen Quarzporphyre von Groß-Umstadt im nordöstlichen Odenwald wurden bisher für Deckenergüsse gehalten. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß es sich nicht um Decken sondern um Spalteneruptionen in verschiedener zeitlicher Folge handelt. Als interessantes Gestein wird ein „agglomeratischer Kristalltuff“ beschrieben, weiterhin neue Mineralien wie „Pinit“, Oligoklas und Fluorit.

Abstract

The Permo-Carboniferous rhyolites of Gross-Umstadt in the North-East of Odins Forest (Odenwald) has so far been considered as a plateau type extrusion. Recent investigation suggest that there is a sequence of fissure eruptions. A description of a newly found agglomerated crystal tuff is given. Further new minerals are pinite, oligoclase and fluorite.

Résumé

Les rhyolites permo-carbonifères de Gross-Umstadt au Nord-Ouest de l'Odenwald furent considérés jusqu' à présent comme coulées de plateau. Des observations récentes démontrent qu'il s'agit de différentes éruptions de fissure. Une nouvelle roche désignée comme tuf de cristaux agglomérés est décrite ainsi que les minéraux nouveaux pinite, oligoclase et fluorite.

О писаны “аггломератн ые“ туфы, а также отдельные минералы (пинит, олиго клаз, флюорит).
