Improved selectivity of urinary oligosaccharide screening using two one-dimensional TLC systems

Conclusions

Combination of two one-dimensional TLC systems provides additional discriminative power with respect to pathology. Breast-feeding patterns can be distinguished from the α-mannosidase patterns in the new TLC system using isopropanol.

We prefer the combination of the regular system with the isopropanol system.
