This is the second article by Seward Hiltner in the series on “Troubled People in a Troubled World,” which represent the 1966 Alden-Tuthill Lectures given by Dr. Hiltner at The Chicago Theological Seminary, published in the June, 1966 issue of “The Princeton Seminary Bulletin,” and reprinted by permission. The first article on “People in the Suburbs,” was published in our February, 1967 issue. The final article, on “People at Work and Play,” will be published next month.—Ed.
