Pregneninolon, ein Neues per OS Wirksames Corpus Luteum-Hormonpräparat

Zusammenfassung

Pregneninolon, chemisch nahe verwandt dem Progesteron, ist ein neuer Stoff mit Corpus luteum-Hormonwirkung.

Bei subcutaner Darreichung ist Pregneninolon mit 2 mg am vorbehandelten infantilen Kaninchen wirksam und erreicht somit 1/3 der Aktivität des Progesterons.

Während Progesteron jedoch mit der 100 fachen Subcutandosis (60 mg) bei oraler Verabreichung unwirksam ist, gibt Pregneninolon schon mit der doppelten Subcutandosis (4 mg) ein positives Resultat.

Percutan verabreicht sind Progesteron und Pregneninolon etwa mit 10 mg wirksam.
