Leberbiopsie bei Icterus Intermittens Juvenilis

Zusammenfassung

Es werden 5 Fälle von Icterus intermittens juvenilis mitgeteilt, wobei histologische Untersuchung der Leber mittels Leberbiopsie vorgenommen wurde. Bei 3 Patienten wies die Leber ein vollkommen normales histologisches Bild auf, bei 2 Patienten fand sich eine mittelschwere Steatosis hepatis, aber in keinem der Fälle war auch nur eine Spur von Entzündungsveränderungen festzustellen. Daraus folgt, daß Icterus intermittens juvenilis ein von der Hepatitis wesensverschiedener Zustand ist; diese Untersuchungen unterstützen die Auffassung, daß Icterus intermittens juvenilis auf einer funktionellen Dysfunktion der Leber beruht. Die Bedeutung der nachgewiesenen Steatose ist unsicher.
