Conclusions

The proposed method of predicting rise of ground-water level has been confirmed in practice in the construction and operation of buildings of the Saratov Chemical Combine.

In this connection the new edition of the Construction Specifications and Regulations (SNiP) has necessarily included a section on method of calculating unavoidable rise of the ground-water level in the built-up region.
