Immunologische Darstellung zweier verschiedener Anti-γ-Globulin-Faktoren (Rheumafaktoren)

Zusammenfassung

Wir isolierten den Rheumafaktor aus verschiedenen Seren von Patienten mit chronischer Polyarthritis und gewannen Antirheumafaktorseren durch Immunisierung von Kaninchen. Mit den Rheumafaktoren, den Antirheumafaktorseren und spezifischen Antiseren wurden immunologische Untersuchungen mit der Doppeldiffusionsmethode und der Immunoelektrophorese durchgeführt. Wir konnten einen Rheumafaktor von 19 S-Globulincharakter und einen agglutinationsaktiven Komplex von 19 S-Globulin und 7 S-γ-Globulin immunologisch darstellen. Außerdem fanden wir einen Rheumafaktor von agglutinationsaktivem 7 S-γ-Globulincharakter, wie er bereits auf Grund von Untersuchungen mit der Ultrazentrifuge beschrieben wurde. Die Ergebnisse zeigen die Möglichkeit, die Natur verschiedener Rheumafaktoren auch immunologisch zu studieren.

Summary

We have isolated the rheumatoid arthritis factor out of different rheumatoid arthritis sera and produced anti-sera by immunisation of rabbits. With the RA-factors, anti-RA-factor-sera and specific antisera we carried out immunological studies by aid of the double diffusion method and with the immunoelectrophoresis. We could demonstrate immunologically a RA-factor with 19 S-globulin character and an agglutinating active complex of 19 S-globulin and 7 S-γ-globulin. We also found an RA-factor of active 7 S-γ-globulin character, described before based on studies with ultracentrifugation. These examinations show the possibility to study the nature of different RA-factors with immunological methods.
