Summary

We have determined the nucleotide sequences of 5 S ribosomal RNAs from two marineVibrio species,V. fluvialis andV. parahaemolyticus. Comparisons among these and the 5S rRNA sequence fromV. cholerae indicate homologies in excess of 92%. Comparisons are also made with the 5S rRNA sequences from two other members of the family Vibrionaceae.
