Zusammenfassung
Summary
1) A small, insignificant reduction of cortisol secretion rates was found when 8 postmenopausal patients were treated with daily 5 mg estradiol-benzoate for three days. 2) Cortisol secretory rates of 5 patients suffering from carcinoma of the prostatic gland were in the upper normal range upon estrogen treatment for periods from 3 weeks to 2 years.
