Zur Stabilität des 2-Sulfanilamido-4,5-dimethyloxazol

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über den Zerfall von Sulfamoxol in wäßriger Lösung berichtet. Einige Spaltprodukte werden charakterisiert, ein möglicher Reaktionsablauf wird diskutiert. Beim Menschen wurden im Urin ähnliche Befunde wie in wäßriger Lösung erhoben.

Summary

Results found in stability studies on aqueous solutions of Sulfamoxol indicate that the drug is easily split into several compounds. Some of the degradation products are characterized. Similar findings were obtained using human urine.
