Summary
The present paper gives the evidence that in some particular cases of bronchiectasis, namely in the course of hypogammaglobulinaemia and perhaps in mucoviscidosis also, the albumin metabolism is disturbed. In the patient with congenital hypogammaglobulinaemia and heterozygous mucoviscidosis the albumin leakage into sputum was discribed using51Cr albumin. This albumin loss into bronchial tree was called “proteinbronchorrhoe”. The metabolism of131I-Albumin was disturbed according to results previously obtained byWaldmann.
