Zusammenfassung

Mit Hilfe der Peroxydasereaktion des Hämoglobin-Haptoglobin-Komplexes werden kleinste Mengen an Human- und Kaninchen-Hämoglobin nachgewiesen. Bei Verwendung von Benzidin bzw. Guajacol als Substrat und Wasserstoffperoxyd als Sauerstoffdonator können so noch 5 µg Hämoglobin/ml bestimmt werden.

Summary

The peroxydase reaction of the haemoglobinhaptoglobin-komplex permits the detection of even smallest amounts of haemoglobin from men and rabbit. By use of benzidine or guaiacol respectively, as substrates, and hydrogen peroxide as the source of oxygen as little as 5 µg of haemoglobin/ml can thus be determined.
