Summary

For evaluation of antibodies to intrinsic factor of the blocking and non blocking type in patients with pernicious anemia the method of gel filtration with Sephadex G25 and G200 was used. Gel filtration proved to be a simple, reliable and sensitive procedure to detect antibodies to intrinsic factor. When this method was compared with the char coal technic or to immunological coprecipitation a good correlation of results was obtained.
