Summary
The separation of blood cells using continuous carrierfree flow electrophoresis in 3 different buffersystems (tris-citrate-saccharose, tris-glycine and phosphate-saccharose) is described. The purification of the erythrocytes and granulocytes was complete, while the lymphocytes fraction was partly contaminated by erythrocytes and granulocytes. The vitality tests using phagocytose and staining methods and in addition the morphological examination of the separated cell material resulted 70–80% of the cells beeing vital.
