Summary
The activity of glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase in thrombocytes was elevated in 150 patients with splenopatic bone marrow arrest, osteomyelosclerosis, leucosis, cirrhosis hepatis and morbus Werlhof. The activity was lowered in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis and aplastic anemia. Relations are shown between enzyme activity and turnover of thrombocytes.
