Summary

Electron microscopic examinations in rats after acute liver intoxication with galactosamine revealed: extensive hypertrophy of the smooth endoplasmic reticulum, disappearance of the rough endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondrial irregularities, large cytoplasmatic vacuoles, fat droplets and glycogen depletion.

Zusammenfassung

Ultrastrukturelle Veränderungen galactosamingeschädigter Rattenlebern — die sowohl die Organellen als auch das Cytoplasma der Hepatocyten betreffen — werden mitgeteilt.
