Observations on mating behavior of wild siamang gibbons at Fraser's Hill, Malaysia

Abstract

Copulatory and associated behaviors were observed during a 15 months' stay in Malaysia. Photographs revealed that the mating posture was ventro-ventral, followed by the male's approach from above and behind.
