Erzeugung der Sekretionsphase im Endometrium des Kaninchens (=Corpus luteum-Hormonwirkung) durch Placentaextrakt

Zusammenfassung

Obwohl in der Literatur1 hier und da Andeutungen gemacht waren, daß die Placenta eine sekretionsfördernde Wirkung auf das Endometrium habe (Fellner, Hermann, Allen, de Fremery und Mitarbeiter), wurde bis jetzt noch nicht einwandfrei die sekretionsfördernde Wirkung der Placenta erwiesen. Erst als es gelang, das im Placentaextrakt anwesende und störende Follikelhormon zu beseitigen (modifizierteAllen-Corner-Methode nachAllen-Meyer) trat die Corpus luteum-ähnliche Wirkung der Placenta zutage. Frühere Untersuchungen über den Gehalt der Placenta an Corpus luteum-Hormon konnten nicht zum Ziel führen, weil hoher Follikelhormongehalt der Extrakte verhinderte, daß die sekretionsfördernde Wirkung zum Ausdruck kam.

Aus unseren Untersuchungen geht hervor, daß die Placenta einen Wirkstoff enthält, der wie das Hormon des Corpus luteum fähig ist, bei Kaninchen die spontan entstandene oder künstlich hervorgerufene Proliferationsphase im Endometrium in eine Sekretionsphase umzuwandeln.
