Haemophilus parainfluenzae: Ein ungewöhnlicher Erreger eines Psoasabszesses

Summary

A case ofHaemophilus parainfluenzae psoas abscess in a previously healthy 36-year-old man is reported here. The absence of any bowel pathology indicates that abscess formation occurred secondary to haematogenous spread of the organism.

Zusammenfassung

Bei einem vorher gesunden 36 Jahre alten Mann trat ein Psoasabszess auf, der durchHaemophilus parainfluenzae verursacht war. Da keinerlei pathologische Veränderungen im Darmbereich vorlagen, ist anzunehmen, daß sich der Abszeß infolge hämatogener Ausbreitung des Erregers entwickelt hat.
