Die Corticosteronsekretion beim Menschen

Zusammenfassung

Bei 30 Normalpersonen und 33 Fettsüchtigen mit einem Übergewicht von 25 bis 100% des Durchschnittsgewichts wurden die Sekretionsraten von Corticosteron und Cortisol nach dem Isotopenverdünnungsprinzip und die Ausscheidung der Metaboliten Tetrahydrocorticosteron, Tetrahydrocortisol und Tetrahydrocortison bestimmt. Die Corticosteronsekretion war bei Normalpersonen und Fettsüchtigen in der gleichen Größenordnung und es bestand keine Korrelation zum Körpergewicht oder zur Körperoberfläche. Die Cortisolsekretion war dagegen bei Fettsüchtigen gesteigert und die Korrelation zu Körpergewicht und Körperoberfläche signifikant. Der Quotient der Sekretionsraten von Cortisol/Corticosteron war bei Fettsüchtigen größer als bei Normalen. In der Diskussion wird auf die Bedeutung von ACTH bei der Regulation der Sekretion von Cortisol und Corticosteron eingegangen.

Summary

In 30 normal and in 33 obese persons with an overweight of 25% to 100% of the mean body weight the secretion rates of corticosterone and cortisol using the isotope dilution technique and the excretion of the metabolites tetrahydrocorticosterone, tetrahydrocortisol and tetrahydrocortisone were determined. The secretion of corticosteron was within the same range in normal and obese persons and there was no correlation with body weight or body surface area. The secretion of cortisol, however, was increased in the obese group and the correlation with body weight and body surface area was significant. The quotient of the secretion rates cortisol/corticosterone was greater in obese persons than in normals. The role of ACTH in regulating the secretion of cortisol and of corticosterone is discussed.
