Auffindung eines Nebenschilddrüsen-Adenoms erst nach szintigraphischer Darstellung mit75Se-Methionin

Zusammenfassung

Nach fünfmaliger vergeblicher chirurgischer Suche gelang bei einem primären Hyperparathyreoidismus bei einer 22jährigen Frau die Lokalisation des Adenoms durch szintigraphische Lokalisation (75Selen) und anschließend in einem kurzen Eingriff seine operative Entfernung. Auf die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen dieses in Zukunft anzuwendenden diagnostischen Verfahrens wird besonders hingewiesen.

Summary

A 22 year old woman with a primary form of hyperparathyroidism was operated five times, including thoracotomy, unsuccessfully without finding an adenoma of the parathyroids. Only after a selective isotopic labeling of the parathyroids with selenium 75 methionine the adenoma was found in a short time and successfully removed. The possibilities and limits of this diagnostic method are discussed.
