Conclusions

The use of deep antislide holding elements consisting of driven and cast-in-place piles or columns makes it possible:

  1. 1.

To mechanize the production processes in an integrated manner.

  2. 2.

To carry out the erection work from the ground surface instead of in deep trenches, avoiding the cutting of the slopes.

  3. 3.

    To minimize the earthwork volume.

  4. 4.

To additionally use piles as foundations for buildings and structures.

  5. 5.

To use slopes stabilized by this method for further building development.

  6. 6.

To sharply reduce the operation costs, inasmuch as pile structures, in contrast with other antislide measures, do not require permanent care and maintenance.

In this connection, wide use of antislide holding elements should be recommended.
