Vibrating permalloy probe for mapping magnetic fields

Abstract

A detailed description is given of the apparatus for mapping the magnetic field on the surface of ferromagnetic materials. Some of its properties are shown by a calibration equipment used. Examples are given of the application of the probe in mapping the domain structure of silicon iron.
