Abstract
Multipolarities of 130, 279, and 409 keV transitions in the decay of197mHg have been determined by magnetic electron and gamma-ray spectroscopy. The multipolarities of other transitions have been verified. The results are compared with core excitation, Alaga and Ialongo and pairing-plus-quadrupole calculations.
