Abstract
The value of the phase of the maximum of ionization rate variations is calculated by using the relations determined in the present paper and the experimental results obtained by šícha and Drouet (Can. J. Phys.46 (1968), 2491). A possible interpretation of the results obtained has been proposed, taking into account the variation of the electron energy distribution function.
