High-frequency forces acting on the boundary of a magnetoactive plasma and vacuum

Abstract

Using the tensor of time-averaged stresses, a study is made of the force which an electromagnetic wave exerts on the “sharp” plasma-vacuum boundary and on the volume of bounded plasma under the assumption that the magnetostatic field is parallel to the plasma-vacuum boundary.
