Abstract
This paper is the last part of the work which discusses the emission of electrons from a sandwich cathode with regard to the dielectric layer. It is assumed that the dielectric is ideal or that an electron, during transfer through a dielectric, is scattered by acoustic phonons, optical phonons and traps, and the normal and total energy distributions are calculated.
At the end all results obtained in this and previous papers are summarized, and the results are arranged so as to permit their comparison with the experimental data and in this way to obtain some information about the situation in the cathode.
