Abstract
The paper deals with electron emission from photocathodes exposed to X-rays. Measurements were performed on emitters made of platinum, Ag-Mg alloy, known photoelectric layers of Sb-Cs, Sb-Na-K-Cs and Te-Cs-Sb-Na-K and of a KCl layer. The greatest sensitivity — particularily in the region of soft radiation — was found in substances with small electrical conductivity. Finally some results of measurements are discussed.
