A note on the influence of resistance on the “resonance conditions” in plasma acceleration

  • Published:
Czechoslovak Journal of Physics B Aims and scope

Abstract

The note deals with the influence of resistance on the “resonance conditions” in accelerating clusters of plasma of constant mass in an external magnetic field [1]. The plasma structure is not investigated. The dependences of the optimum magnetic fieldB and the maximum possible cluster velocity on the damping constant δ are found.
