Abstract

The excitation of rotational levels of nuclei by scattering of high nucleons is considered. The general formula for cross-section is obtained. The cross-section dependence of excitation of first two rotational levels of even-even nuclei on nuclear deformation parameter is given for three values of parametera, which characteries absorption of nucleons by nuclear matter.
