Abstract

Analytical expressions for the rheological properties of dilute polymer solutions at low deformation rates are established through the computation and analysis of exact Zimm's eigenvalues. These expressions include only measurable molecular parameters without the need for adjustable model parameters. In all the expressions the polydispersity of the molecular weight is considered. The theoretical predictions show good agreement with published experimental results.
