Abstract
The possible mechanisms of superconductivity in PdH(D) and PdAgH(D) systems which have been studied by Buckel and Stritzker are discussed. Especially we examine the possible participation of the optical phonon modes in the electron-phonon coupling and their importance for the observed opposite isotope effect in these systems.
