A measurement of the ratio GE/GE of the proton form factors at very low momentum transfer

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik

Abstract

The ratioμG EGM of the proton form factors was determined by measuring the electron scattering cross section of the proton relative to that of12C. Data were taken atq 2=0.09, 0.16, 0.25, and 0.36 fm−2, yielding a weighted mean ofμG E/GM=1.01±0.03.
