Abstract
Explicit numerical values are given for the matrixelements of the first forbiddenβ −-decay of Pm146 to the 2+-state of Sm146. The odd-odd nucleus Pm146 is assumed to have a structure similar to neighboured even-even nuclei to which an odd neutron and an odd proton are coupled. The wavefunctions of the even-even nuclei are calculated starting from Bohrs Hamiltonian.
