Abstract
These recommendations for cell and tissue banking were drafted by the Committee on Standardization, Collection and Distribution of Cells and Tissues of the Tissue Culture Association (TCA) jointly with the Cell and Tumor Council of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB).
Reviewed and endorsed by the TCA Executive Board and Council (1980) and by the AATB (1980), the guidelines are reprinted here to assure their availability to the widest possible spectrum of workers involved in cell and tissue culture.
