Pulsed neutron single crystal study of the structure of 3-deazauracil

Abstract

The structures of the substituted nucleic acid base 3-deazauracil, elucidated from pulsed neutron single crystal diffraction, is presented. The improved definition of the hydrogen atom positions and the hydrogen bonding scheme are emphasized in this work.
