Abstract
The structure of the title compound consists of a five-membered boroxazolidone ring in which a diphenylboron fragment bonds to the oxygen and nitrogen atoms of the amino acid. The B−N distance of 1.61(1) Å is the shortest reported for such compounds. Other parameters are as would be expected by comparison to similar species.
