Summary
Six Crested Shelducks (2 ♂ and 4 ♀) were observed by myself and ca. 20 students in the end of March 1971. They were swimming on ocean water at the mouth of the river Pouchon into the Eastern Sea (Sea of Japan), about 40–50 m away. A short time later they flew off in northeasterly direction.
