Summary
Niridazole, a nitrothiazole derivative, demonstrated powerful antimicrobial activity against 510 clinical isolates ofGardnerella vaginalis tested. MIC's ranged from 0.002 to 1.0 mg/l with MIC50 and MIC90 values of 0.02 and 0.067 mg/l, respectively.
Zusammenfassung
Niridazol, ein Nitrothiazol-Derivat, wies bei der Testung von 510 klinischen Isolaten vonGardnerella vaginalis hohe antimikrobielle Wirksamkeit gegen diesen Erreger auf. Die MHK-Werte waren im Bereich von 0,002 bis 1,0 mg/l; die MHK50 lag bei 0,02 mg/l, die MHK90 bei 0,067 mg/l.
