Observation of a fixed amplitude singularity for g2=0

Soviet Physics Journal Aims and scope

Abstract

A difference of renormalized meson theories from electrodynamics and unrenormalized theories is that there is still a completely open question as to a fixed singularity at the point g2=0, in which g is a physical constant of the field coupling. Two experimental methods of solving this problem are considered: the Mittag-Löffler method and a method based on suitable analytic extension into the complex n-plane for the coefficient function Un (s, t) for the n-th term of the perturbation series for the amplitude.
