On the westward expansion of the Penduline Tit (Remiz pendulinus): The situation in SW-Europe

Summary

A similar increasing of breeding records and a westward expansion of the Penduline Tit (Remiz pendulinus) as documented at the northwestern limits of the breeding range, took also place at its southwestern limits in mediterranean France and Spain. Also the number of wintering birds recently recorded southward as far as Marokko have increased.
