Summary

A hybrid ofFicedula albicollis andF. hypoleuca, presumably from a back-cross toalbicollis, was observed in southern Finland in 1972–73. The hybrid bred with a pied female in both seasons, but it could not be ascertained whether the offspring were adopted or fathered by the hybrid male.
