Summary

Growth ofSalmonella typhimurium LT2 andEscherichia coli K12 bearing any of four R-factors of the fi+ and fi group in repressed and derepressed form was not inhibited by a combination of ethidium bromide with ampicillin and kanamycin.

Zusammenfassung

Salmonella typhimurium LT2 undEscherichia coli K12 mit vier R-Faktoren der fi+ bzw. der fi Klasse im reprimierten bzw. dereprimierten Status ließen sich durch die Kombination von Ethidiumbromid und Ampicillin bzw. Kanamycin nicht abtöten.
