Summary
In patients, cefotaxime concentrations in skin were evaluated after injection of 2 g i. v. The high values found form a basis for the treatment of dermatological infections with cefotaxime sensitive bacteria.
Zusammenfassung
Nach Injektion von 2 g Cefotaxim i. v. wurden bei Patienten die Konzentrationen des Antibiotikums in der Haut bestimmt. Die gefundenen hohen Werte legen die Basis für den therapeutischen Einsatz von Cefotaxim bei dermatologischen Infektionen mit Cefotaxim-empfindlichen Keimen.
