Zusammenfassung

Bei 29 Frauen wurde Cefotaxim im Rahmen einer Uterus- oder Adnexexstirpation präoperativ i. v. injiziert. Es erfolgten zeitabhängige Konzentrationsbestimmungen dieses Antibiotikums im Serum und Gewebe. Die Gewebekonzentration wurde mit der minimalen Hemmkonzentration (MHK) klinisch relevanter Keime verglichen. Daraus ergibt sich eine günstige Gewebegängigkeit für Cefotaxim. Während der Studie fiel die gute Verträglichkeit von Cefotaxim auf.

Summary

29 women received an i. v. injection of cefotaxime prior to hysterectomy or adnexectomy. The concentrations of the antibiotic in serum and tissue were measured at various intervals. The tissue concentration was compared with the minimal inhibitory concentration for clinically relevant microorganisms. The findings indicated a favourable tissue penetration of cefotaxime into tissue. It was noticed in the study that cefotaxime was well-tolerated.
