Zusammenfassung

In einer Probandenstudie wurde die Wirkung von Cefamandol, Tobramycin und der Kombination beider Medikamente auf den proximalen Tubulus untersucht. Gemessen wurde die Ausscheidung des Membranenzyms des Bürstensaums, die Alaninaminopeptidase (AAP) im 24 h-Harn. Cefamandol zeigte keine Wirkung auf den proximalen Tubulus, dagegen Tobramycin einen kumulativen Anstieg der AAP im Urin und die Kombination beider Medikamente gegenüber dem Tobramycin-Effekt hinaus, ohne daß er statistisch gesichert werden konnte.

Summary

The effect of cefamandole, tobramycin and the combination of both drugs on the proximal tubule was investigated in a study with normal subjects. The elimination of the membraneous enzyme of the brush border, alanine aminopeptidase (AAP), was determined in the 24 h urine. Cefamandole exhibited no effect on the proximal tubule, whereas tobramycin produced a cumulative increase of the AAP in the urine, and the combination of both drugs resulted in an AAP increase exceeding that produced by tobramycin alone, without being statistically significant.
